As an additional service, we offer the renting of GPS devices from the brand Garmin for all outdoor-holics.

The ideal introduction to the pleasant use of GPS! Never again getting lost in roadbooks - enjoy the advantages of easy track navigation with our latest GPS devices!

When booking our pick-up service or car-shuttle at Transalp-Shuttle.com you only pay HALF of indicated prices!

All devices include the fixture for the handlebar of your bike, instructions on how to use the device and basic information on track navigation.

Prices do not include 5€ shipping fees.

Your device is being set up specifically for the kind of trip you are planning. During your trip, you can switch between either road navigation or detailled topographic data. All map data is included with your device.

Even for GPS-beginners, the orienteering outdoors becomes incredibly comfortable. When you have a certain route which you would like to follow, this route appears as a "guiding line" on the display.

The rental period consists of 1 week (8 days) or longer if wished. We only take into account the time the GPS device will actually be available for you.

We post the devices from our office in Austria. It takes usually 2-3 days to be delivered to EU - countries.

Example: Your plan a trip from Saturday until Saturday. Monday before your tour we will send you the device. Monday after your trip, you will post it. The actually rental period in this case would be one week. If you take advantage of our shuttle service, you can just as well hand it right back to the driver!

Of course you can also just rent a gps without booking any other service from Transalp-Shuttle.com.

Up- and downloadservice included!

If you wish, we will program the devices with your desired tracks if you email them to us beforehand. (Please use common formats, like .gpx).

Moreover, we can download your individual tour and send it to you as an email attachment, so that you can follow your route in google earth or similar programs.

www.GPS-Tour.info also offers many routes for free download - not always best quality, though.

This offer is valid as long as there are devices available. Batteries are not included in the rental service. Two AA-batteries will last about 20 hours in your Etrex.
